A converted running back. at one time he held LSU records for season and career catches, yards in game and yards in a season. He was second in the nation in kickoff returns as a freshman, including a 100-yarder for a TD against Kentucky. He was a 1983 All-American and two-time All-SEC pick. He played 10 years in the NFL, including 9 with New Orleans.
