Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer
Lot #4
Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer, a personal friend of George Washington. Jenifer was elected to the Continental Congress in 1778 and was one of three Maryland statesmen who signed the U.S. Constitution. He also owned Lot #78.

Lot #4: Conveyed by the Trustees of the Town of Bath to Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer, 1777.


Robert Townsen Hose
Lot #5
Robert Townsen Hose, a merchant from Alexandria, Va. The lot was sold to Daniel of St. Thomas Jenifer, a member of the Continental Congress, who also owned adjoining Lot #4 (see marker). Original site of David Hunter Strother house.

Lot #5: Conveyed by the Trustees of the Town of Bath to Robert Townsen Hose, August, 1777.
