Black JackMotovelero Chris Chraft Comanche de 13 metros de eslora (largo), fue comprador por Mario Nelson Galán Durán en la isla de Antigua a finales de 1972, según instrucciones del comandante Francisco Caamaño Deñó, quien en 1965 fue Presidente Constitucional y enfrentó la invasión militar del gobierno norteamericano. El 26 de enero de 1973 zarpó desde Port Luis en la isla de Guadalupe comandado por Francisco Caamaño (41 años), y tripulado por: Heberto Lalane José de (27 años), Mario Nelson Galán Durán (25 años), Alfredo Pérez Vargas (26 años), Ramón Euclides Holguin Marte de (26), Juan Ramón Payero Ulloa (24 años), Carlos Toribio Peña Jaques (36 años), Hamlet Hermann Pérez (38 años) y Claudio Caamaño Grullón (34 años). Llegaron a la Bahía de Ocoa, Azua el 2 de febrero de 1973 y pisaron tierra de la Patria en la noche. El propósito de Caamaño y los patriotas bajo su mando era enfrentar la situación de servilismo y dependencia en que estaba la República Dominicana después de la invasión del gobierno norteamericano en 1965. 24 de abril de 2010, en la Marina de Guerra, bajo la jefatura del almirante Homero Lajara Solá, restaura el Black Jak y lo entrega a la Fundación Caamaño para que sea expuesto de manera permanente al pueblo dominicano.
