August 24, 1974 - September 11, 2001

Colleen was a remarkable friend who always had an encouraging word to offer. She flashed her smile and her sparkling blue eyes to let you know everything would turn out just fine. And then she would help make it so, because she was a great motivator who cared deeply about her friends.
Colleen lives in the memory of the people who knew her: her family; her Kappa Delta sorority sisters and other Susquehanna friends; her hometown community in Easton, Pa.; her Manhattan friends; her Wall Street and other business colleagues; her track and cross country teammates; and those she met while studying in Aix en Provence. All are forever blessed for having known her and experienced her warmth.
A 1996 graduate of Susquehanna and a 1992 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Green Pond, Colleen reached out to make a difference in the lives of others. She was a Special Olympics volunteer, a member of Students Against Drunk Driving, and the chair of "Hoops for Hope," a cancer research fund-raising program.
Colleen understood the importance of creating her own opportunities and welcomed her challenges as an associate trader for Sandler O'Neill & Partners L.P. She and her colleagues shared a camaraderie on their trading desk in the World Trade Center's south tower. Colleen was among friends on September 11, 2001.
