44th Indiana, - Lieutenant Colonel Simeon C. Aldrich.
86th Indiana, - Major Jacob C. Dick.
13th Ohio, - Captain Horatio C. Cosgrove.
59th Ohio, - Lieutenant Colonel Granville A. Frambes.
7th Indiana Battery, - Captain George R. Swallow.


At 9 o'clock September 20th this Brigade then in position on the slope west of this tablet was sent forward with Samuel Beatty's Brigade on its right to the first ridge east of this point, thence toward the main line, and upon arriving in rear of General Brannan's Division near the Poe house were ordered still farther to the left. Dick's Brigade soon after took position in the woods west of the Kelly field in rear of Stanley's Brigade of Negley's Division, but almost immediately withdrew to the left and, with the exception of the 44th Indiana, and fragments of the 86th Indiana and 13th Ohio which rallied on Snodgrass Ridge, soon proceeded to McFarland's Gap and thence to Rossville.
