Built 1911 for Dr George W. Robinson, a physician, planter, and real estate developer. Fifth Street was renamed Robinson Place by him in 1910 and the stone columns at Fairfield and Robinson Pl. were erected then. Later and for many years the home of Douglas A. Lee of the Lee Hardware Co. and wife Lucille
