Ayuntamiento1939-1940Comisión Municipal de Investigaciones HistóricasEste monumento colonial estuvo colocado por la Calle Diego de Montemayor, antes Calle de La Presa, sobre el Puente de la Purísima, hasta el año de 1934. A iniciativa del C. Prof. Manuel Flores, Presidente Municipal de la Ciudad, se mandó reconstruir y colocar en este lugar, como preciada reliquia histórica. Monterrey, N.L., Méx., 18 de febrero de 1940.
English translation:City Hall 1939-1940 Municipal Commission for Historical Research This colonial monument was previously placed on Diego de Montemayor Street, formerly La Presa Street, over the Purísima Bridge, until 1934. At the initiative of Manuel Flores, Municipal President of the City, it was ordered to be rebuilt and placed in this place, as a precious historical relic. Monterrey, Nuevo León, México, February 18, 1940.
