 Olla de Fundición No 9Construida por The Whiting Foundry Company y vendida a la Cia. Fundidora en 1901, la olla número 9 del departamento de Fundición era utilizada para vaciar el fierro líquido a otra de menor tamaño y dar paso a la fabricación de diversas piezas de fierro vaciado. Está revestida interiormente de ladrillo refractario para soportar las altas temperaturas que se generaba en su interior.
English translation:Foundry Crucible No. 9 Built by The Whiting Foundry Company and sold to the Monterrey Foundry Company in 1901, Crucible Number 9 of the Foundry Department was used to empty the liquid iron into a smaller sized crucible as a way to manufacture various pieces of cast iron. It is lined internally with refractory brick to withstand the high temperatures that were generated inside.
