This photo of John Wayne (left) and Director John Ford was taken in 1950 when they were filming "Rio Grande", near Moab, Utah. Ten years earlier Ford and his co-stars Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert made "Drums Along The Mohawk", on Cedar Mountain just north of Kanab for 20th Century Fox Studios.
