Polish Resistance Movement-AK 1939-45

They remained abroad, in post-war exile, to continue the struggle for a free and independent Poland. These former members of the Polish Armed Forces settled in Perth Amboy where in March 1961, they formed Post #40 of the Polish Veterans of World War II. Here these law-abiding men and women raised their children, who entered the mainstream of American life as exemplary citizens of the country of their birth.
