"Haskell Warriors"
that served in
World War I
and in memory of
those 'Warriors'
who made the
supreme sacrifice
for their country.
Rededicated
October 13, 2001.
75th Anniversary
The Haskell Stadium
was made possible by the
gifts of over one thousand
Indians, representing
more than fifty tribes.
Every cent contributed
in the erection of this
structure has come from
Indians. It is the largest
and most unique Indian
project ever attempted,
and will stand as a monument
built by the older Indians
for the younger Indians
yet to be educated at
Haskell Institute.
Dedicated
October 30, 1926
This Entrance Arch
was made possible by gifts
from
Alice Beaver
and
Agnes Track
Two former students
of this school and
members of the
Quapaw Tribe.
Restoration of the
Haskell Arch
was made possible by a
donation from the
Prairie Band
Potawatomi Nation
