who died after serving his
country in the World War
Volunteered April 26, went to France in December, 1917. At all times Corporal in the Field Artillery, 2nd Division Intelligence G2 Section Brigade Headquarters. Served with Fifth French Army in Champagne January and February, 1918. With 2nd Division in Woevre Sector - March, April, and up to May 24, 1918. To Reserve Somme May 30: June 2, Marne. Served at Chateau Thierry with 2nd Division June 4. Graduated from the Artillery School at Saumur September 7, commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, 2nd A.I.C. Went into training for artillery aerial observation at Tours, which he completed November 1, 1918. Service honest and faithful.
