Saline County's Everlasting Tribute

Here we enshrine forever the glorious memory of the living and the dead who through their valiant efforts and bitter sacrifice kept us a free people

Theirs Not to Reason Why, Theirs But to Do and Die

We the citizens of Saline County have caused this monument to be erected forever to serve the cause of peace

May God grant unto us the courage and wisdom to protect forever the freedoms for which they fought
