No words can describe the courage, endurance, and gallantry of the Army of Tennessee. They marched, fought, bled, and died for a Cause they knew was right. On that Indian Summer afternoon of November 30, 1864, the courageous Army of Tennessee deployed into line of battle and marched over these open fields into immortality. The memory of these heroic souls is as enduring as time. Their legacy is assured; it is only that of everlasting glory.

"A life given for one's country is never lost"
Sam Watkins, 1st Tennessee Infantry, C.S.A.
