On this spot stood until the end of the 19th Century House No. 315 on Bognergasse. The Danish fairytale writer, Hans Christian Andersen, lived on the second floor of this house, from June 9, 1834 until July 9, 1834.
Dedicated by the Austrian-Danish Society on the occasion celebrating 50 years of its existence, November 24, 1960 - November 24, 2010.
