As well-known for his size as for his talent, he was born at 15 pounds, 14 ounces, making him the largest baby ever born in Louisiana. Eventually he was 6-foot-7, 386 pounds and an All-American and two-time All-SEC honoree. In 2008 he helped anchor a line that blocked for 1,000-yard rushed Charles Scott.
