mil neuf cent soixante-quatre
le vingt-sixième jour de mois d'aout,
Moi Paul Bernier
Archevêque-Evêque de Gaspé
ai consacré en l'honneur de Saint Norbert
cette église et son maître-autel, et ai-inclus
dans ce dernier les reliques des saints martyrs
Jean de Brébeuf, Gabriel Lalement et Charles Garnier
en faveur de tous les fideles chrétiens qui visiteront cette église,
j'ai promulgue, selon la forme usitée dans l'église,
les indulgences suivantes:
le jour de la consécration: indulgence plénière;
le jour anniversaire, indulgence de cinq cents jours["].

I, Archbishop Paul Bernier
Bishop of Gaspé
dedicate in honor
of St. Norbert
this church and its high altar, and have included
in the last the relics of the holy martyrs
Jean de Brébeuf, Gabriel Lalement and Charles Garnier
in favor of all the faithful Christians who will visit this church,
I promulgate, according to the form used in the church,
the following indulgences:
the day of consecration: plenary indulgence;
the anniversary, indulgence of five hundred days.["]
