English:Railroad Station It was built between 1913 and 1920. It is considered as perhaps the only example in Merida of the so-called "First Neocolonial Style." This site displays how elements and features from the Traditional Mexican Architecture were added on Porfiriato constructions. Double and triple windows as well as towers and minarets are reminiscent of architecture during Muslim domination in Spain. Nowadays, it hosts Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatan a.k.a. ESAY (Yucatan Superior School of Arts)
