4-6-2 Pacific type passenger locomotive built by the Locomotive and Machine Works of Montreal, Limited, the Canadian branch of ALCO, the 5529 weighs 346,030 lbs., has brakes on the lead trucks and is an excellent example of early 20th Century locomotive design and practice with spoked pilot and trailing wheels common to that era.
