25th Arkansas, - Lieutenant Colonel Eli Hufstedler.
4th and 31st Arkansas, and 4th Arkansas Battalion, (Consolidated), - Major J. A. Ross.
39th North Carolina, - Colonel David Coleman.
Culpeper's South Carolina Battery, - Captain J. F. Culpeper.


About 2:30 p.m. the Brigade came to the support of Johnson's and Gregg's Brigades then formed east and north of Vittetoe's for assaulting Snodgrass Hill. The Brigade ascended the ridge and formed a second line near the batteries of Dent and York on the summit. Upon the falling back of the first line composed of Johnson's and Gregg's Brigades McNair's Brigade mingled with those troops and the right of Manigault's line and continued to fight with them until dark following the enemy to the bottom of the ravine back of the crest on which they had fought.
