 Tótem CanadienseDonado por el pueblo canadiense con motivo del 150 aniversario de nuestra independencia, celebrado en 1810. Tallado en cedro rojo, el origen de los postes totémicos se remonta a muchos siglos antes del descubrimiento de Canadá. Las figuras representan la mitología indígena tales como el águila, el halcón, la ballena y el castor.
English translation: Canadian Totem Donated by the Canadian people on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of our independence, celebrated in 1810. Carved in red cedar, the origin of totem poles dates back to many centuries before the discovery of Canada. The figures represent indigenous mythological features such as the eagle, the hawk, the whale and the beaver.
