English translation:Church of the Señor de la preciosa sangre de CristoTemple of the Lord of the Precious Blood of Christ The construction of this church began in 1884, on the initiative of Friar Blas Enciso. The work of this religious was continued by Friar Rafael Villafuerte, but could not finish it: who did so, was Friar Fulgencio Villagomez. The church has a floor plan of a Latin cross: it has an atrium surrounded by a metal fence. The outside of the church shows an eclectic architectural style, where austerity prevails. The facade has two bodies: the first one has the access door formed

by a round arch and flanked by columns supporting an entablature. The second body has at its center a rectangular window or vain, which is the choir window, and is escorted by four columns, similar to the first body. The top of the facade is crowned by a smaller body that safeguards the clock. The church has two bell towers of the same size, both have three levels or bodies topped by a small dome. Inside the church you may see a cross vault supported on fluted columns. From the inside you can access the adjoining chapel, the sacristy and the notary. The church houses a beautiful image of the Black Christ, of the Immaculate Conception, of the Virgen del Carmen and the Virgen de la Soledad. It also has a wooden pulpit and an oil painting of San Liborio. As its name suggests, the church is dedicated to the worship of Jesus called "Precious Blood of Christ": because according to the Catholic religion, with the blood that Christ shed in his crucifixion and death, he saved mankind. This sacrifice shows the great love he had for women and men around the world.
