 Posición Hasta Donde Retrocedió el Ejército MexicanoTras dos días de batalla, en la madrugada del 23 de septiembre el ejército mexicano evacuó el Fortín del Diablo (hoy calle Gral. Jesús Ortega, cerca de Platón Sánchez). Por la mañana los norteamericanos comenzaron a avanzar hacia la plaza principal desarrollándose un conflicto urbano en el que cada casa fue fieramente disputada. English translation:Retreat Position of the Mexican Army After two days of battle, at dawn on September 23 the Mexican army evacuated the Fortín del Diablo (The Devil's Redoubt, today General Jesús Ortega Street, near Platón Sánchez ). In the morning, the Americans began to move towards the main square. An urban conflict developed in which each house was fiercely contested.
