The Authority entered into a Relocation Agreement with the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, Football at the New Stadium, Inc., and the Los Angeles Rams Football Company, Inc., for the Rams to relocate to St. Louis.
Nearly 1.6 million hours of craft labor were expended on the project this year.
August - The Missouri State Auditor's Office issued a formal report covering the period from the Authority's creation through October 1994, finding no discrepancies - an unprecedented accomplishment for such a large and complex project.
November 12 - The first public function was held in the domed stadium as the new St. Louis Rams hosted the Carolina Panthers and defeated the visitors, 28-17, before an inaugural-day crowd of 66,000.
December 31 - The convention center expansion, including the domed stadium, St. Louis' newest landmark, was completed and fully prepared to host conventions and various types of sporting events.
