The hotel opened on October 5, 1929 and was erected at a cost of $135,000. The Spanish Moorish design is built of brick, cement & steel making it virtually fire proof. Scaracenic Arches mark the front entries The Seville served for years as Harrison's finest social and civic meeting place. The property has passed through a series of management and names. In April of 2008, it was purchased by PFI Hospitality. Since then the 1929 Hotel Seville has completed $3.5 million restoration and now boasts 57 rooms, a first class restaurant & again hosts events of distinction. It is truly one of Harrison's most valued jewels.
