It was located above Jim Dye's Drug Store, currently Sam Alexander's Drug Store. The building was constructed in 1913 for the railroad offices and the city paid $35,000 to have them moved from Leslie. The M&NA was crucial to the economic development of the area. However, from the time that it arrived in Harrison in 1901 it experienced several changes in management, worker strikes and interruptions to service. At one point it earned the nickname May Never Arrive. It was abandoned in 1962. The upper level, consisting of 8,800 sq ft, has been converted into the Alexander family residence.
