The Jewel of Annapolis

Tours start at the top of the hour from noon until 4:00 (summer) or 3:00 (winter).

Built in 1774 by renowned architect William Buckland for tobacco planter and patriot Matthias Hammond, the house is one of the finest examples of Anglo-Palladian architecture in the country. It is also home to one of the nation's premier decorative and fine arts collections.
