Site of Greenbrier Seventh Day Baptist Church, organized Aug. 1870 by members of New Salem church, est. 1792 in Salem. Met in log building; new church dedicated, 1880; razed, 1975. Rev. Peter Davis (1783-1885), original settler & Rev. Jacob Davis 91827-85), first pastor, buried here. Pulpit, pews & window panes used in Fort New Salem meeting house at Salem-Teikyo University.
