I Saw The Marker
My daughter Michele and I designed this marker. This was the winner in a City of Tampa contest for a memorial honoring American servicemen missing or POW's in the Vietnam War. We were honored that our design was chosen and now hangs on City Hall Plaza. You may see a photo of the plaque on our website:
www.thereluctantsorority.com That is also the title of my book, The Reluctant Sorority - referring to the fact that no wife wants to be forced to join the 'sisterhood of widows' as a result of the death of her husband in war. I will upload a photo to this site soon.....
