(1858-1929)
Inspired by the good turn of an English Scout, he brought the Scouting movement to the United States. His efforts led to the incorporation of Boy Scouts of America in Washington, DC, on February 8, 1910, and to its chartering by Congress on June 15, 1916. Boyce was born in Allegheny County about twelve miles northeast of here. This campus was named in his honor.HM Number | HMREG |
