Patrolled the Milwaukee outfield for the first seven of his 12 Major League seasons. Earned a Gold Glove and A.L. MVP consideration in 1979 after finishing with a .321 batting average, 28 home runs and 101 RBI. His performance placed him in the A.L.'s top ten in home runs, AVG, OBP (.414), SLG (.573) and OPS (.987). A year earlier, Lezcano led the A.L. with 18 outfield assists. Ranked among the top five A.L. right fielders in fielding percentage in 1975, 1978, and 1979. Finished his Brewers career with a .275 AVG, .354 OBP and .805 OPS. Also became the first player in Major League history to hit a Grand Slam on two separate opening days, accomplishing the feat in 1978 and 1980.HM Number | HM2LAM |
