Directions Information | From the Twin Cities, take US Hwy 169 south and get off at the first Le Sueur exit (MN 112). Follow MN 112 and within a couple of blocks, you will see the monument. Turn left on Vine St and there will be a parking lot right there on your right. From Interstate 494 & US 169, it is a little over 40 miles. |

I Saw The Marker
Some of the bricks on the monument are stained, and some are starting to break off. One brick from the left side of the monument is broken off (and gone as far as I could see). The plaque is very hard to read and it's very hard to get a readable photo of it.
