When Ohio and the United States were mostly rural, cemeteries were often located on the family farm. For many of these cemeteries few or no records exist. Available records suggest that this small site is the Francis H. Game Cemetery established circa 1860. The land was part of a Congressional Land Patent granted by President James Madison in 1809.
