c.19141n 1886 there was a restaurant in the north side of the original building and a harness shop in the south side. A dry goods store in the north side and a jewelry store in the south side occupied the double store building in 1899. The Evening Star Lodge #43 purchased the original one-story structure in 1911. The second story was added in 1914, and has been occupied by the Masonic Temple since that time.
