Park is Site of Farm Owned by Hero of Ticonderoga
Putting behind him the martial deeds of a hero, Ethan came here in 1787 to till the soil as a peaceful farmer. On Feb. 12, 1789, he died here after a trip across the ice to South Hero. Memorial Tower was built on Indian Rock, traditional Algonquin look-out.HM Number | HM1FHN |
