Like 208 South Presa, which it resembles. this house was probably built shortly after 1869 on land purchased by Ernest Hessler from Juana Francisca Montes de Flores. The structure, which appears on the 1873 city map, was rented when Louis Foutrel bought it in 1891, and continued to be used as rental property until the City acquired it in l940.HM Number | HM1KCD |
