The exterior of the Scarritt Arcade with its ornate terra cotta shows the influence of Louis Sullivan and the 'Chicago School' of architecture. An interior skylighted open well, with windows on all sides, allows natural light into the offices which surround the well.
Entered on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
