Ex-convento y Templo de San Francisco

Primer convento de la ciudad, fundadoa mediados del siglo XVI. Contribuyeron ensu edificación las familias Echaide, Godínezy Guerrero. En las obras del siglo XVII, temploy claustro principal, intervino el arquitecto Joséde Bayas Delgado. En el atrio hubo cuatrocapillas, éstas se destruyeron en el siglo XIX.El convento es ahora el MuseoRegional de Querétaro.English:Founded in the mid-1500s, this was the firstconvent in the city. The families of Echaide,Godínez and Guerrero contributed to itscompletion. Architect José de Bayas Delgadodirected the works of the 17th Century, thetemple and principal monastery. The atriumused to contain four chapels that weredestroyed in the 19th Century. Today, theconvent is the Regional Museum ofQuerétaro.
