Edificada en el periodo de 1531-1534. Sistema constructivo de paredes de tapial y aplanado de tierra talpuja. Área actual 200 m².Martín Estete acompañó la expedición de Francisco Hernández de Córdoba en 1524. Durante los primeros años de la ciudad fue Guardián de la Fortaleza.
