The Robert Ware Straus Ecosystem Farm gives a look into the possible future of farming. Sustainable and organic farming practices allow the Farm to attain high quality produce with minimal impact on the environment.

The Robert Ware Straus Ecosystem Farm is an experiment in organic farming on seemingly unsuitable soil.

Its poor drainage and low fertility create challenges for farming in this soil, yet the Ecosystem Farm overcomes those problems. Thorough a program called Community Supported Agriculture; local residents support the farming operation and receive a share of its harvest in return.
