(1834 - 1863)Alexander Liholiho, grandson of Kamehameha the Great, brought a great appreciation for etiquette and ceremony to court. He and his wife Emma Rooke showed great concern for the welfare of their people and established the Queen's Hospital located on 'Oahu.
