The raid by Brig. Gen John H. Morgan's Cavalry Division into Indiana and Ohio began here Units were the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th Kentucky Cavalry, and the 9th Tennessee Calvary, with attached artillery. Brig.
