This cabin, and the one across from it, were occupied by slaves on the Welham Plantation in the Antebellum Period.After the Civil War, they remained occupied by tenant farmers, sharecroppers, and finally plantation workers until the 1960's. These two buildings as well as the double-pen slave cabin were moved to the museum in 1971.HM Number | HM247O |
