As a founding member and a longstanding Chair for the Trans Canada Trail Committee of the Nova Scotia Trails Federation, she worked tirelessly to engage communities, volunteers, governments and the private sector in making the dream a reality.
Vera's contribution is measured by more than just the kilometres of the Trail, but also by the number of people she has touched along the journey. Her infectious passion inspired countless others to share her vision for this legacy. Her work enables residents and visitors to explore this stunning province for many future years.

This plaque is dedicated as a symbol of appreciation for a special lady, Vera B. Stone — a proud Nova Scotian.
—————————————
