The holy sacrifice of the mass was first celebrated in a mission chapel just east of this site.

1883

Mary Queen of Heaven Parish was established and a church was erected on this site.

1902

This present church was erected and blessed by the Bishop of Nesqually.

1990

This church was placed on the National Register of Historical Buildings by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
