English:The Temple of Jesus the Nazarene of the Three Falls(Templo de Jesús de Nazareno de las Tres Caídas) Its construction concluded in 1840. It is believed that the building plans were the work of architect Francisco Eduardo Tresguerras from Celaya, who died before the work began. The building, with its particular central tower, is a valuable example of the neoclassical architecture so popular
at the time.In principle, the decoration of the temple was austere, but a generous donation by the Páramo Sisters, Manuela and Ana Maria, allowed the priest of French origin, Ives Grall, who at the time was in charge of the temple, to adorn it in a very sumptuous way, leaving behind an outstanding work that lasts until today. The decor is complemented by four wall paintings by Rico Zeferino a local artist, who captured in his paintings the three falls suffered by Christ during His ordeal, hence the name of the temple. The fourth painting represents the crucifixion.
