U.S. Army (KIA) Vietnam

S\Sgt. Murray's squad was searching for an enemy mortar position when a member of his squad tripped a booby trapped grenade. Instantly assessing the danger to his men, Murray without hesitation or regard for his own safety, threw himself on the grenade absorbing the full and fatal impact of the explosion by his self sacrifice, he prevented the death or injury to members of his squad.
