Sebastian "Bus" Krier, Lake Shore Stone Company foreman, lived on this scenic spot in a handsome two-story house with a magnificent view of Lake Michigan. This comfortable home presented quite a contrast to the small, box-like houses of most company employees. The Krier house, originally located directly east of the quarry, was moved here when quarrying operations began in that area.

The comfortable house of foreman "Bus" Krier. Part of the foundation still remains today.
