Inscription
Felipe came from Zaragoza, Coahuila, Mexico with 3 sons in 1907 to work at the Fawcett
Ranch. In 1910 he brought all of his family to Sonora. Leonardo, Teadoro, Eligio, Felipe,
Jr., and Andres married in Sonora. Eufemia, the only daughter, did not marry, but reared her
six nieces and nephews who were orphaned as children. Their names were Isidro, Alfred, Pedro, Emelio, Estella and Felipe III. Felipe gave the site for the first catholic church. He died in 1925 at age 85. Tomasa died in 1959 at age 88.
