The oldest business building in Pineville is located just behind the 600 Block at 105 Hayden, now Gabor Painting. The building was originally at 101 Main Street as Davie's Warehouse. Later it housed a broom factory. It was moved to its present location when the third levee was built. So popular were motion pictures in Pineville in the 50's and 60's that the center of the block became to home to not one, but two theaters - The Hauber Theater and The Theater Annex. The Town Hall and police headquarters once made their home on the block and a hardware company existed from 1928 until Webb's Hardware closed its doors in the late 60's.
